Native Presence — Custody of Living Culture
A home for living culture — with consent, protocol, and permanence.

Posting is free.
Custody is paid.

Native Presence is designed for long-term cultural custody: clear permissions, community continuity beyond individuals, and stable reference for archives and partners. Expression is free. Protection, stewardship, and continuity are paid.

The core rule (non-negotiable)

Expression is free. Custody is paid.
If you remember only one sentence, remember that one.

What’s free vs what’s paid Clear separation

WHAT IS FREE (always)

This is what people get without paying, and it must feel generous.

Create & publish

Post text, images, audio, video. Public profile / page. Appear in search / discovery. Basic bio + identity. Basic tags / categories.

Public sharing

Share public links. Embed publicly allowed content. Be discoverable. This avoids the feeling of a “paywall platform”.

Community participation

Join communities. Comment / respond (if enabled). Be visible as a member. No one pays to exist.

WHAT IS PAID (this is the product)

Paid plans do not sell posting. They sell control, continuity, and protection.

Paid = Custody features What you’re actually paying for
Individual

Voice & consent

€24
per year

You’re paying for:

Control over your voice. Not to post, but to say: “This exists on my terms, now and later.”

PAID UNLOCKS:
  • Visibility control per item (public / protected / permission-required)
  • Consent & reuse rules (view allowed ≠ reuse allowed)
  • Provenance block (author, context, date, meaning)
  • Stable reference link (doesn’t break, doesn’t get buried)
  • Edit history / versioning
  • Right to revoke or restrict later
Community

Continuity & protocol

€120
per year

You’re paying for:

Continuity beyond individuals. Communities pay because they ask: “What survives us?”

PAID UNLOCKS:
  • Steward roles (who can publish, who approves, who edits)
  • Community protocol (rules attached to the page and content)
  • Protected collections (elder knowledge, ceremony-related material)
  • Internal-only areas
  • Change logs (accountability over time)
  • Continuity if people leave (knowledge doesn’t disappear with accounts)
Institution

Ethical reliance

€360
per year

You’re paying for:

Ethical reliance without ownership. Institutions pay because: “We need to use this, and we need proof we did it right.”

PAID UNLOCKS:
  • Permission clarity (what can be cited, reused, archived)
  • Request-permission workflow (ask → approve → record consent)
  • Audit trail (evidence of ethical use)
  • Stable citation references
  • Institution workspace (“What we are allowed to use”)
  • Risk reduction (proof of consent and provenance)

The line that makes it understandable

Posting is free. Custody is paid.
Free lets you speak. Paid lets you protect, steward, and sustain.

Clear answers What you need to know
“What do I get for free?”

Free: Create & publish, public sharing, community participation. Expression is always free. You can post text, images, audio, video, have a public profile, appear in search, share links, join communities, and comment.

“What do I pay for?”

Paid: Custody features. Control over your voice (Individual), continuity beyond people (Community), or ethical reliance with proof (Institution). You’re paying for protection, stewardship, and permanence — not posting.

“Why do institutions pay more?”

Because they rely on stable reference and permissions, and their use increases custodial and compliance load. They support the system without owning it. They pay for risk reduction and proof of ethical use.

“Can I start free and upgrade later?”

Yes. Start with free expression. Upgrade to paid custody when you need control, continuity, or ethical reliance features. Your existing content stays, and custody features apply retroactively.
